Requests for further information
If our underwriting team request more information on a proposal, an email with the information required will
be sent which will look like the below
Click ‘Open in Broker App’ to be re-directed to the further information request OR find in the deal in the proposal toggle and the
relevant application from here!
The further information required will also be displayed in Simply Connect and you will also have the ability to reply directly to
the questions asked.
Once you're in...
- If the request requires a written response, please type this into the response section. If you need more space, you can enlarge the text
box by dragging the right-hand corner.
- Please upload any attachments through the 'Upload Document' button where you can drag and drop files into the proposal folder.
- When a document has been uploaded, tick the document uploaded box.
- Once completed, click 'save' and then re-submit.
- Once submitted the deal will go back into the underwriting queue and the Broker Support team will be notified right away!
In an instance where the underwriter still doesn’t have everything they need to make a decision, a second ‘request for further
information’ will be sent out. However, the questions you have already satisfied will be greyed out.
